A fellow evolving primate. I like to learn new things, and therefore, I love to read. I like to move, so I run, practice yoga, lift weights, and do outdoorsy things like hiking, kayaking, and biking. I like to get outside in the dirt and I love to cook (vegetarian), so I garden. I am an everyday creative who likes to explore different artistic mediums such as paint, clay, and collage. I am in a wonderful and supportive partnership with a man I deeply love, and we live together with our cat, dog, fish, and chickens. I work a full-time job coordinating youth programs in an urban nonprofit agency, and attend grad school full-time for Environmental Education.
Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:
I have written poetry and a small amount of unfinished fiction. I return to memoir writing now and again. I also illustrate.
