The nineteen year-old had been wondering these last eighteen hours why she'd agreed to natural childbirth.

Well, if you're going to write a book called fate, it just makes sense that it'll be full of birth, sex, and death, I guess, right? I haven't had time to read a whole heck of a lot, but good luck with finding time for it. I know that's a constant battle. I mostly write on my lunch break at work.
