Weronika Janczuk wrote her first full-length manuscript as a sixth grader, the result of an in-class "free write" that grew into the story of thirteen-year-old Allie Johnson, teenage spy. The novel was later self-published as ALLIE'S JOURNEY through Trafford Publishing. Now as a senior at Eagan High School, Weronika's manuscript count has reached seven, all stories of young girls growing up. Her current project, WHERE THE DOVES FLY, diverges from past commitments and tells the story of a woman searching to define herself artistically. Weronika will begin seeking representation for the project in early 2010.
She resides in Eagan, MN, with her parents and two brothers. Plans for the future include a rigorous college education as a double major in Creative Writing and Secondary Education.
She has been published in multiple Creative Communications anthologies, Teen Ink, Alive, New Moon, and in various e-zines.
