$10.00 The price of a parking ticket that allowed me to have one hour of freedom from home confinement. A bowl of soup savored in a corner of the restaurant where my walker could be tucked away from public view. I’ve become a public spectacle as people watch me struggle with a walker through doors of the doctors’ offices, up an elevator and down a hallway. I want to apologise in my lateness in welcoming you to my group Blooming Late. I was ill with Bronchitis and due to an autoimmune disease which also renders me disabled it was longer than I would have liked before I was strong enough to do more than the minimum in here.
BUT I want to ask you to please if you havent done so already, introduce yourself to the group in our To Kick Things Off discussion and let us know your writing accomplishments and longterm goals.
Also if you have any books already out please list them in OUR GROUPS BOOKS in the pages section on the left hand side of the group page.
You may have already seen that we have a great group of women here who are in all genres and varying stages of writing who are a real source of support and inspiration for writing and I hope you find a real writing home with us!
Please also have a look around at our many discussions and activities in the pages section and see what you would like to add to and participate in. We love participation when you aren't busy writing of course.
