My Review of Zoë Ferraris's third Katya Hijazi novel

"I'm shooting for 1000. Nanowrimo started without me yesterday because I just couldn't get to it after work. But I've got the goal for today and am excited about starting a new novel. Or a new something--whatever it turns out to be."

I began a blog that I named Lighting Out for the Territory, using Huck Finn's expression for escaping to the West to suggest the setting of the novel. My first post is about the historic Japanese-American greenhouses in Richmond, California. Abandoned when Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066 and… Continue

I’m always up for the opportunity to win a free book, so I followed the link, and was excited to see that all I had to do was enter the name of a female artist overlooked by popular culture to enter the drawing for Who is Ana Mendieta? Hi Jane,

I wanted to connect with you and ask for your feedback. I recently did my first on-camera interview for the children's book on child sexual abuse prevention that I wrote, My Body Belongs to Me. Please let me know what you think when you have some time.

Thanks in advance.
