- Who I am:
- I am Australian research/writer, sonic and digital performance artist engaged in embodied theorizing, and in creating new media sound art and performances. I work at the comically contested edge of represented meaning plying new models for digital language in relation to scoring digital sound in particular. I'm presently doing PhD transdisciplinary research at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane on Gertrude Stein and sounded-language and its digital implications. I’m interested in ventriloquisms as performed language and shape my work as ‘baroque digital operas (operations) and interventions in public spaces from ventriloquist dummies. I am also involved in linking and building online communities, setting up short and long terms collaborations and creative links with other practitioners.
I have recently returned from a research trip to the US and London to set up collaborative links with digital artists and theorists.
