A six-word memoir is a statement that tells a story about who you are and how you live your life. . It expresses your identity, personality, emotions, personal interests, wisdom, beliefs, professions, and experiences.
Dear Miranda,
Imagine how shocked, and delighted, I was to learn from a random Google search a few years ago that Charlie Chaplain's leading lady was from my sleepy, rural, out-of-the-way hometown--and then to find from the SheWrites Q&A that someone had written a book about Virginia!
I still can't believe I grew up in, and have remained connected to (and in fact often write about), my hometown throughout my life without ever having heard of Virginia.
I have added your book to my Christmas wish-list and cannot wait to learn more.
Cheers,
Alison
