Family Diaries and Documents
Recently I've heard from several people who have diaries, journals, poetry and other documents from ancestors. Let's share what treasures we have, what they teach us about ourselves, and how we can use them as the basis for our own writing.

- Who I am:
- i am a writer and a teacher. i just earned my mfa in creative writing from uno. i teach communications at the u of memphis and ap english lit and ap world history at houston high school.
- Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:
- i have a 179-page memoir that i am trying to find a publisher for called Wider Than a Mile, and i have written 8 plays, the latest one, The Cold Side of the Pillow, 9 monologues about insomnia.
