No worries Kathryn. I look forward to more conversations with you. Most of all...looking forward to learning more about your work. Peace and have a wonderful New Year!
Jan Marquart said… Hi,
I'm writing up a storm. Teaching myself how to write flash fiction. It is much tougher than you'd think. I've been having trouble with the shewrite page. It's difficult to know where I am and where what I write is going so I've stayed closer to Goodreads.
Still looking for work.
How are you doing?

MaryLynn Bast said… Both of your books sounds interesting. I would love to read them and help in anyway possible.
MaryLynn Bast said… Thanks for responding Kathryn. For beta reading I am basically looking for someone to read the story for content, to tell me if it makes sense or leaves you wondering "what the heck?" I have people reading for the errors, grammar and sentence structure, but one more set of eyes wouldn't hurt.
What type of books do you write?
MaryLynn Bast said… Hi Kathryn,
I am new to the site. I am currently working on my first book, trying to get it through the beta read process. My friend is beta reading, but I would like to find a couple more people to help out. I dont have an offical synopsis of it yet, but this is basically what the book is about:
Amber is a unique werewolf and has special abilities. Being the only female wolf to be born on the full moon, she is hunted by the Council. She is forced to remain on the run, alone, as she tries to survive in the world of humans, keeping her secrets safe.
As a werewolf, she faces many challenges as she is ripped apart from her family and forced to be on the run. She encounters many different people but never allows herself to get close to anyone, never be a part of a pack. That is, until she saves Blake's life. Amber also finds herself in the middle of a rescue mission to save a cub and humans who are being held hostage by another wolf pack.
As she allows herself to get more involved, Amber finds herself becoming a part of the pack. Making friends as she struggles to come to terms with the lies her life of running was based on. Amber has to decide if she wants to keep running or be part of Blake's life and be with her wolf's life mate.
Jan Marquart said… Glad everything turned out okay. I still haven't found someone I feel comfortable with taking me to do the procedure.
So far there is:
one gardener and one helper
one plumber and two helpers
one HOA manager
one unit manager
and yet the wet soil was dug up and put back against the wall the plumber left sitting against over a foot of water for 24 hours. How many men does it take to dig out the soil, toss it, let the wall dry out and put in dry soil? This is unbelievable.
