Stacey,

Thank you for the beautiful comments you wrote about my blog and losing my mother. I loved your expression about they are in a big playground and we are in the sandbox...so true. It must have been very hard losing your sister at such a young age. It sounds like she sends you signs that she is around you still and that you will always be together. It is two weeks ago today exactly at this time that I found about my mother passing. I guess to see them again, the yearning, stays with us. Take care, and blessings to you, Stacey.

I would love to, but I'm not sure how, or where to start it. There's a message area at the top of the discussion board that only allows a short message and I'm not sure if it's for starting a new discussion, or adding to the one that's there. There are discussion headings below that, which I think that I would just be adding to those discussions, but not sure if a new one can be started under the heading.

I've looked through some of the how to info on LI, but haven't gotten very far, then got sidetracked to this site. I've been clicking links on both sites to read info and occasionally put a comment in a new discussion. On SW, it took a minute to figure out if a message was going on a public wall or on private walls and I'm still a little confused about it. lol

If you can link me to info about how to start a disussion on LI, or tell me how to do it, I'd appreciate it and be able to start the discussion. Sorry I had to ask, but getting involved in social media, networking, etc, is all new to me. I'm used to clicking on links and reading, although I do belong to a couple of forums where I post to threads and upload images, but this is different. :-)

It's so incredibly nice to hear back from you (!!!) and I apologize for taking so long to respond but I wanted to wait until I had the time to do so properly. It's not every day that I receive a personal reply from a writer whose work I have enjoyed and I'm happy to know that Dive is getting more attention now. It's a really wonderful time for YA literature it seems!  And thank you for the offer of additional assistance when the time comes - it is always great to have other writers in your corner. :D Please do keep in touch!

Hey Stacey! :)  Thanks!  Publishing can be very cut throat and many times it's the authors holding the knives. I don't want to be like that. I'd rather help people if I can than try to tear someone to pieces. I don't know everything--I just may have a little more experience--but I'm willing to learn from others too :D

Writing that makes people mad

Do you write things that make people disagreeable? Are your views in contrast to others in your circle? What do you do when you write a blog post that upsets someone, someone who may not usually read your blog but suddenly hears about your post and…See More
