Looking for another author who is publishing a book about food and wine this year to do a book signing event with.

My romance suspense book called "Last Words" is going to be self-published this year. In the fall I was looking for another author to do a group book signing event. Last Words is set in Wine Country California and I've always heard book signing events go more smoothly if more than 1 author is featured. Please add me as a friend and send me a message if you are interested.

We live in Los Angeles, which I didn't think would be as child- and family-friendly as it actually is. Just a few days ago, my older daughter and I spent the day in… Continue

Working through the pain

Another entry in my "it sucks to get older" category.  Cervical spinal stenosis.  Degenerative Disc Disease.  Cervical Radiculopathy.  Or, as my granny used to call it, "my aching back".  Haven't written a thing in ages because the pain meds make me…See More

"Ellen, I highly recommend rereading them - or listening to them, which I'm doing. I have listened to all of George Eliot on CD and love them much more than when I read them in my 20s. They were sheer joy. The long paragraphs I skimmed over are…"
