Inspirational things
For many years I have collected and saved things that I find inspirational in my life. In fact, I think I might be an ‘inspiration’ hoarder. There are things like this all over my house that I just need to look at and find something that makes me happy within them. Writer’s Block and Foundation Stones
A lot of writers suffer from something commonly known as ‘Writer’s Block’. I have in fact used the term myself. But that was back when I couldn’t identify why it was happening.
Then I discovered that it wasn’t writer’s block at all. I suffered from something a little different… something I like to call ‘Middle Book Blues’. I’m pretty sure that I didn’t coin that phrase… but that’s what it’s called to me.

Bringing your characters to life
Recently I have been reading KM Weiland’s book ‘Crafting Unforgettable Characters’. I have to say, I have really enjoyed it. Weiland puts quite a different spin on character development.
