It's been a long time since I've updated! I've been busy with life, and haven't had time to write. I've been working as a freelance copywriter for a Marketing company in Florida for a while now. I've been writing Press Releases, Blog Articles, Email Drips, a Q&A, FAQ, etc. It's good work and I enjoy it - for the most part. I enjoy the blog articles the most, but also like doing the press releases.

The definition of outsourcing and the birth of BPO is no stranger to us, especially today when it has become a trend and an issue in the business world as well. However, people should probably be thankful of this process – whoever they are and whatever they do. Outsourcing is simply contracting a set of tasks from your company to another company. The term can also be used by individuals, self-starters, and entrepreneurs or basically just by anyone who wants to pass work to another…Continue

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
Far, far away, in a distant galaxy, there is a planet where money just doesn’t matter. It doesn’t even exist. I’ve dreamed about it. This is a place where you do what you love. You live a very…Continue

The world is full of divine music.
And it has my Husby to thank for it.
Maybe I should explain . . .
When Husby was eight, his parents, like many parents have, decided that he should do something . . . musical.
They opted for the violin.
And he agreed.
A small violin was purchased at no small sacrifice for a less-than-wealthy family.
Dutifully, Husby carried it to the…Continue

It starts out with a snuffle – a voice he's never heard before,
And suddenly, he's a Father and there's a whole new world in store.
The time goes by, he's changed a thousand diapers, maybe…Continue

My parents were very conscious of teaching us proper manners.
Starting at an early age.
There were ongoing lessons on ‘Please’ and ‘Thank-you’.
The difference between our…Continue

We were visiting/staying with my husband’s sister.
Her home was in the country, surrounded by acres of Adventure.
Our kids loved it.

What can I say but mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . . .
My Dad taught me manners.
I was a slow, but well-fed, learner.
Maybe I should explain . . .
Dad and I were on a cattle show tour.
I say, 'we' but I was mostly useless.
I had injured my hand in a grooming accident…Continue

So small - to cause such big problems . . .
Dad was running an errand.
For his mother.
It was 1937 and the family had just recently moved to Lethbridge from Glenwood, Alberta.
He enjoyed the independence of being able to walk the few blocks…Continue

Where the Jones Family lived.
The Stringam Ranch was situated on the Alberta/Montana border, midway between the town-opolis of Milk River and the village-opolis of Del Bonita.
My father elected to send…Continue

I am home with a sick little girl today. She caught her daddy’s wretched stomach virus. My hands are positively chafed from the extremely frequent hand-washings. I hope that the preventive measures work and I don’t get what they have.
Whenever I can’t find inspiration inwardly in my writing, all I really have to do is look at and engage in the world around me and write it…Continue
