Cold Foodie Oh's

The house is filled with the scents of garlic and saffron and sundried tomato. Right now, as I set my “table” in front of the Travel Channel and Anthony Bourdain’s 100th show, my cabin in the woods is full of soft, savory essences.

As a self-professed newbie to the food blogisphere, I’ve noticed an odd… Continue

Sugared Grapes by Paul Berge

I thought I would give a well deserved shout out to my BF by showing a great pic he shot last weekend at a fundraiser I organized last weekend.

Thank You Earl!

As much as a hurricane is NOT a fun thing to go through, when it side swipes you and the worst ramifications it leaves are cooler temperatures and wonderful breezes moving across your property...well, that I can deal with… Continue

It was pretty hard to get the shot...but I seem to do pretty well at those "almost… Continue

Hmmmmm. I'm hungry

Of course I am. It's 6 pm and I am still in my office thinking about what I want to cook tonight. Of course, the Pats are playing game 4 of pre-season football tonight so maybe it will be just a few simple flour tortilla pizzas with sautéed onions and peppers encased in a drippy and melty wonderful wasabi cheddar from New York state. I have a fun California Red open called "Erik's the Red" from Toad Hollow. 16 red wine varietals all in one pretty… Continue
