Pitch, Baby, Pitch

Last week, as we were working on her pitch for a new TV show, one of my clients asked me how many people actually sold their TV pitch.  "Almost none," I replied cheerfully.

When Everything Matters

Lately, I have found myself a wee bit stressed.  It’s not that I mind working with clients, hosting playdates, cooking dinner, rustling up freelance work, and, oh, of course, writing my novel… No, truly, I love all these things (minus the cooking) I just don’t love that they all need to be done now… right now.  “Do me!” they all scream.  “No, ME!”  “MEEE!”  It gets loud there in my head.  I am reminded of a line from Caligula (the play, not the movie):
