Please join us on Monday 10/1/12 at 7 PM ESTfor a conversation with Ron Starbuck. Starbuck has been a contributing writer for Parabola Magazine, has had poetry published in Tiferet Journal and other journals and anthologies, and is the author of Wheels Turning Inward, a rich collection of over fifty poems that follow a poet's mythic and spiritual journey across the paths of many contemplative traditions.
Starbuck has been deeply engaged in an Interfaith-Buddhist-Christian dialogue for many years and holds a lifelong interest in Christian mysticism, comparative religion, theology, and various forms of contemplative practice. As well, Starbuck is the founder of Saint Julian Press, a nonprofit organization that will soon publish works that foster an interfaith and cross-cultural literary dialogue.
Join our world-wide community of people interested in writing, explorations of spirituality, and religious tolerance.
A non-sectarian, non-dogmatic publication and organization, TIFERET aims to further meaningful dialogue about what is to be humane and spiritual in an often contradictory and confusing world. We’re dedicated to promoting peace and tolerance in our readers and in the world…and to educating people how to write meaningful poetry and prose from a deep inner place.
We are current accepting submissions of poetry, fiction, non-fiction and art.
TIFERET publishes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, interviews, and art. We look for high-quality creative work that expresses spiritual experiences and/or promotes tolerance. Our mission is to help raise individual and global consciousness, and we publish writing from a variety of religious and spiritual traditions.
