Hello, everyone at, She Writes. Been working on my latest novel, Of Dust And Dawn, and getting ready to submit it to agents. It is a jungle out there, and I know this from personal experience,http://facebook
but am going to keep trekking along. Have been hearing a lot about self-publishing and Kindal  lately, and might give it a try on an old novel of mine that I couldn't get an agent for. Just see how it goes. The good part about self-publishing and Kindal is that I believe you retain your own rights, so a writer would have a good advantage that way. My problem is at present, I don't write mysteries or suspense thrillers, and these seem to be the best sellers, least for the young. My novels, although I think exciting, very fast pace and so on, are for the more adult orientated audience, and not instant money-makers. An experienced writer once said, however, you should write what comes natural to you and whats true to your heart. Does that sell books, however, I don't know.  Wishing all you woman writers best of luck.   Jan
