There has always been shootings and always will be. Lincoln, the Kennedys, Lenin (John), Reagan, and those killed on campuses, etc, and the unbalanced will always exist as well.  But we don't need to add to it with hateful inflamatory and insenstive words that aid and abet these people. Sometimes even outright lies. Who knows what might have set this gunman off on this particular day. Maybe it was just something someone said.  A local man joined my husband's coffee group the other morning. "Well he says, "Another half dead brained Democrat." Or words to that effect.  My husband, bless his heart, set him straight. This man is a father of small children. He'd have been horrified if someone had said,  "Well, that's one less kid to crowd the school system."
