As new-ish unpublished novelist, I am constantly on the look out for for ways to make things better. This does not mean that I take everyone's suggestions. But there are some that I have applied.

One of the better ones that I did take is to blog in the voice of my protagonist . http://cafecopaim.blogspot.com  .

The good news is that it has made me more familiar with Arina' s thought process. The maybe not so good news is that someone who is not familiar with the small town (fictional) on Cape Cod, may spend part of their vacation trying to find the town and the cafe. I have marked both fictional multiple times, but that did not stop people from believing Orson Welles.

I am still a good distance from publishing but it gets closer all of the time. What's encouraging is that two passages that I was iffy, were really liked by an foreign editor and a published playwrite,  who used the same on line sites that I post my work Got to learn to trust my gut more . Its what made me put those passages there in the first place.
