As I lay next to you, I look at your face while you sleep.
I paint every inch of it in my mind, like an
artist paints his picture on a canvas. I feel your warm
breath as I gently stroke your face. It feels like a soft
summer breeze as it blows by, gently blowing the
leaves on the trees. We have such a connection, that I can
feel your soul as it climbs deep, even deeper into my body.
I know as I lay here watching you sleep, I would be
nothing but an empty shell without you my Love.
I long for your strong arms to pull me ever so
close to you. To have your assurance that everything is ok.
To so desperately have your love, as well as give myself
to you totally.
I look at your face while you sleep. I see my man,
so strong, so full of life. Your touch so gentle, like a mother’s
touch when she stroke’s her newborn’s face.
I feel your love, so full of passion and heat,
just as a raging fire. Its strength and uncontrollable
rage, but its beauty so breathtaking.
You, my Love, are my everything, my heart, my soul, my life.
You are the breath that sustains me. Your love
captivates like that of a child on Christmas morning.
Without you I am nothing but an empty shell.
As I look at you while you sleep my Love, we are in
every way united as one, our souls become one in every
way and in every moment. For my Love, you are
everything, our brief moment in time shall last forever.
