A Wonderful Gift, a Great Book
I know this is a late entry, but I purchased "The Story Within" by Laura Oliver, MFA, as a gift to another writer. This book teaches anyone how to get started writing narratives or memoir. It is well written in easy-to-read style, as Ms. Oliver is also a writing instructor.
