I'm new to She Writes, so I thought I'd dedicate a post to telling all of you about the type of writing I do and who I am.

First thing you should know is that I am no professional; I'm a teenage writer, still in school, but I'm hoping to get published sometime in the future. I have just finished a manuscript I am writing. I love reading romances, so I thought I might try to write one of my own, it's a paranormal type romance with a lot of moral messages as well as just as story on the surface. I think it's a bit of a self portrait to be honest!! Right now I'm in the editing stage, which I thought would be easier than writing, but it's not...instead, it's incredibly tedious...but I have to keep going :)

I joined She Writes because I wanted to meet other writers, to share ideas and tips, and because I know I still have a lot to learn about the world of writing! You guys seem like a wonderful community and I'm looking forward to making some friends.

Thanks to everyone who has welcomed me, it's made me feel at home already.
