Campaign Against The Use Of Pornography In The Sun Newspaper - Please Sign The Petition

I'm involved in a campaign called Turn Your Back On Page 3, against the exploitation of women's bodies by the media in order to sell newspapers and magazines.  Because it is seen as a cultural icon, we're specifically targeting Page 3 in The Sun.  If you're not familiar with it, every day The Sun prints a picture of a woman naked or topless on page three.  As an image the Page Three Girl symbolises not only the acceptance and normalisation of pornography within our daily newspapers but the sexual objectification of women and girls that permeates our culture in general - and thus, ultimately, symbolises our unequal status.

Please sign the petition for the removal of Page 3 from The Sun.

If you'd like to know more about the campaign, you can visit the facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/turnyourbackonpage3

Thank you for taking the time to support a campaign against the exploitation of women.
