My two recent novels , Fading Past and The Opposite of Never have a heroine over 50.

I strongly believe that the last part of our lives can be a Grand Finale if we want it to be. Literary agents aren't picking them up,even though affluent,Baby Boomer women are called the "Silver Economy," and they still buy lots of books-- actual books.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Hi Mary, yes it is very told here especially for Oklahoma, cold as I can recall the last couple of days has been 9  above in the early morning before the sun is out and then it's above freezing.  The good news is it  supposed to be 70 degrees in a couple of days.  Are your books based on your true life experience are totally fiction, are both?

I haven't  read your books yet and i'm new on she writes and still a little unfamiliar with how everything works.  But I've found it difficult to find the book  on the author pages of she writes and I'm curious why she writes doesn't distribute the authors- books, or have a easy way to dirrectly found she writes auther books.. Berna

I agree, because sometimes I tell people, I'm retired counseling Psychologist-and adult education but that  doesn't mean because I'm retired and  overall 50 , several years over 50, I haven't lived and acumiliated knowledge, common since, and hopefully wisdom along the way above and beyond my 35 years of working in my field counseling teaching and writing.  I consider the lifetime of living a plus instead of the negative, especially if we have open minds and hearts, and free spirits opened to communication to all ages.  But frankly, I prefer communicating with others that have a broader scope of life experience and thinking that have read many books. and writers of nonfiction.
