Showtime for Writers

The wedgie was great. I don't believe in writer's block. If you get stalled, work on something else, take a walk, get some light, and then coffee.

There is always melodrama in our lives so tell them there will be a hanging in an hour (see my little post above)

Haven't been able to write since the 8th.  Started again last evening and managed to knock out 4044 giving me a total 17064 leaving me with a completion date of the 29th.  That is 3 days later than what I had on the 8th.  I just added 1234 words for the total of 18298 giving m a completion date of the 30th!  Oh no!

Sitting down to write now!  I have to revise my first two chapters, and my goal today is to complete a draft of my third.  I have four hours -- we shall see...

Well it's Sunday at 11:43 pm  I'm up to 12520 words.  I'm just a little under my quota for the past two days so I'm going to continue for a while.  I would like to hit 3k tonight/early Monday morning then on to course work!  Those of you who knock out 10k + a day are truly amazing and an inspiration when you're not making me feel inadequate! ;)

I participated in an event called "Creating the Impossible" in July.  I chose to write a book.  July was GREAT.  Absolutely no distractions.  August would be good too -- no holidays in August.

[What's Next?] What Are You Looking At?

While reading through my first draft one thing has become abundantly clear: What I have here isn’t a draft at all. What I have is a really, really detailed outline.  Part of the reason for this is that my main goal while I was writing was to just…See More
