Empowering Ourselves and Others through Sharing Our Stories
A two-day retreat in the beautiful rolling hills of Mendham, New Jersey
A weekend retreat that allows time and space with guided exercises that support spiritual development. You will have
an opportunity for a twenty-minute individual session with the
retreat leader/spiritual director to discuss the topic of your
choice. You can participate as much or as little as you feel
comfortable with doing.
Who Should Attend
Led By:
D. Jeep Ries is an Interfaith Minister, mediator, international educator and facilitator and retreat/ workshop
leader. Jeep meets each individual where he or she is as spiritual
director. Her lifelong pursuit of God started in Catholic school.
After years of active involvement in the church, Jeep found that
the dogma of the church did not allow her to flourish. As a result,
Jeep left the church, but not her spiritual path. She has learned
that God’s form or formlessness does not matter; Its essence is the
same.
Jeep has faced numerous life challenges, not the least of which was cancer, overcame them and developed a deeper sense of gratitude
and open-heartedness. This she shares generously. The rituals
she performs holds space to honor that which is sacred while
allowing for one’s personal ascription of particular meaning.
Currently, Jeep is co-creating a domestic violence program for a
Catholic Church and Project Outreach, both in Brooklyn, and is on
the board of advisers for a special Cancer Initiative in NYC.
Additionally, she is devising and delivering a conflict resolution
program for youths, many homeless.
