I'm delighted to be part of the Foreign Flavours anthology, published today by Writers Abroad. This exciting and worthwhile anthology includes fiction and non-fiction about food and cooking abroad (including my piece 'From My Malawian Cookbook'). Proceeeds from the sales of the anthology go to the excellent Bookbus charity, which supports literacy in Africa and Latin America and recently had a book drive for Malawi.

You can buy copies of the anthology from Lulu here.

Having been involved in the selection and editing process, I can be confident in saying that this is a high-quality book, packed with a huge variety of stories from far- and not so far-flung places, ranging in mood melancholic to romantic to humorous. The unifying theme of food and drinks makes it into a coherent whole - a real feast for any reader.

"I read your post, Preeva. It doesn't sound like you hired a professional editor. That is a step I always take on book-length works, and it's something I strongly recommend to my coaching clients. Have you thought of doing that? "
