Just wanted to let the SheWrites ladies know that my community site, www.girl-drive.com was just launched a few minutes ago!

Girl-drive.com is a site for and about young women, that is a spin-off of my upcoming book, Girldrive: Criss-Crossing America, Redefining Feminism. It takes a regional perspective, i.e. spotlights the millions of awesome things young women are doing in their communities. It tracks the many ways young women define feminism and activism. I'll also be writing about news that directly affects young women’s lives.

AND, this is the community part: each week, I feature a reader’s thoughts and photo, to continue Girldrive’s intergenerational conversation beyond the confines of the book. I explain more on the community page of the site.
