We set sail at 4 pm on August 15 from Seattle up the Inside Passage to Alaska and back, stopping at wild and rustic Gold Rush era towns, getting up close to calving glaciers, passing some of the most spectacular scenery on earth where you'll spot bears, moose, whales, bald eagles, dolphin, and more! We return to Seattle at 8 am on August 22.

The writing workshop, taught by an award-winning author/publisher (me!), is included at no extra cost to everyone in The Write Stuff group. I have fun-filled activities planned that are designed to enhance your cruise experience while honing your writing skills. They won't detract from your adventure at all, but add to it immeasurably. You can do as much or as little actual writing as you wish -- but you'll learn a lot about good writing and good observing, and have a great time in the process.


Make it a family vacation if you like: Bring your partner, spouse, parents, kids, or a friend. They can participate in the workshop or not, as they wish.

The ms Oosterdam was launched in 2003, so it's one of the newest cruise ships sailing the seven seas, and it's definitely one of the most elegant, luxurious, mind-bogglingly fantastic in the history of passenger ships.
