I had a whole lot of fun writing this post for my Seventh Generation blog under the name bethina. I never would have predicted that I'd be inspired by the wonderful "Julie & Julia." But as our foursome strolled out of the movie and passed a brownstone Brooklyn stoop sale, I promptly spotted and snatched up a strand of lovely, real-looking pearls at the bargain price of $3, just like those worn by J & J. ("Voila! Classic repurposing!") The following day, I began reading Child's "My Life in France" and the more I thought about it, the more I realized I could tease out a green angle that surprised even me. Voila! Another blog!
