Marge Piercy, author of the bestsellers, Gone to Soldiers and Sleeping with Cats, once said: "The real writer is one who really writes. Talent is an invention like phlogiston after the fact of fire. Work is its own cure. You have to like it better than being loved."
Each day, I take note of vital quotes from literary figures and examine how their reflections of writing apply to me. How they make me feel. React. Inspire me to continue honing in on my craft to pursue my dreams of simply sharing what I have inside through words.
Piercy's words struck me so, that I had to throw my thoughts in this blog and I subsequently made the decision to post my musings of other writers' quotes as they strike me.
