stoneybrook and I kept facebooking with each other even when he was in New York. I kept telling him to see his old girlfriend because she always texted him while I was around. Last time we'd hung out we'd hooked up and I'd told him my dilemma. I told him that I wanted a roommate, and said that we could split the rent for 550 a month if he'd come live with me.

His girlfriend must have texted seven times while we talked about this whole thing. After he'd written her back he'd said that he would do this. he said that we would also wind up sleeping together if we moved in with each other, because stuff like that was bound to happen when you lived close by to someone. I didn't care. I thought we could work it out and develop boundaries somehow or at least in a "to be continued" kind of way.

stoneybrook wrote to me at the movies too after "editor" said i could read for the Benevolent Armchair Reading Series. but i was out with bookseller who was playing angry birds in the middle of the oscar shorts. this was during the Irish 24 minutes one with an actor named one-armed "Paddy"who searched for shellfish in flat grassy low-lying areas. I wasn't too into it so I checked my emails, checked on skype, and looked to see if anyone was on Google chats.

when we got out of the movie bookseller and i walked across the street to sophie's crepes where we got "kevin bacons" and hung our used keys on their back wall that was spray painted gold.

bookseller had promised me that he'd show up at the estate sale on greenspring valley at 2 pm to look for collectibles, but he never showed up. so i wound up calling up my dad, going up and down every floor, sifting through books and asking him if he liked "william manchester", "robert caro", or "norman mailer".

everything was falling apart in that house even though thinking of people living there reminded me of my own. my bi-folding doors had broken the week before and i'd gotten up at 2 am when aika responded to my text, "help me! how do i put these back up?" so i measured the width, the length, and the frames.
