I must state that I am quite offended by Publishers Weekly for their unfortunate list of Best Books of 2009. It is amazing that they couldn't find one woman who would qualify for their list. I will say that my opinion of PW has drastically changed after viewing this list.

Women bring so very much more to a book than men do. They write with heart, feelings and love to inform, entertain and educate those about them. It is par for the course since the literary canon of works still includes very few if any women. Still trying to keep it a man's world!

I am standing tall along with every female writer and letting the world know that we are very offended that this list came from a magazine that, up until now, was thought to be an unbiased place for authors to be reviewed. I no longer give them any credence in the publishing world.
