My memoir, REGINA'S CLOSET: FINDING MY GRANDMOTHER'S SECRET JOURNAL was published in 2007 in hard cover. My publisher has no intention of publishing the soft cover edition. Due to the high cost of the hard cover, many people and organizations have expressed interest in purchasing a softcover edition.

Does anyone know any publishers who might take on publishing a second edition soft cover? I own the book rights.

Any and all tips and ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Thanks Renate! I sent her an email, although I'm not sure her company would be appropriate. for this type of book...but we'll see.

Best wishes,

She Writers member Cynthia Frank comes to mind, Diana. Her publishing company is Cypress House (Fort Bragg, California), and she would be happy to talk to you, I am sure. Good luck with your book!

"Here's a question for you, Brooke. On average, how much time, how many hours, does SPW spend editing - Developmental editing and Copy editing - the books that it publishes?"
