Linda Armstrong-Milleris a retired registered nursed. She leaves in Ga. With her husband Mike and daughter Cayla. Jesus Christ is my Savior. He is the way the truth and the light. I Believe.
Linda’s latest book is Betrayal and Forgiveness.
In the Bible, the Lord asked that we not make promises unless we are sure that we can keep them. Lisa made a promise and has done everything in her power to keep that promise. a lesson her father needed to learn. Before he was able to practice keeping his promise, he lost the love of his daughter, his best friend, and he was about to lose the love of his son. Time was running out for all of them, but they didn’t know it.
Q: Thank you so much for this interview, Linda! Can you tell us where you are from?
I live in a small town called Thomson. Itsthirty miles from Augusta Ga. That’s where the Master’s golf tournament is played.
Q: How did you come up with your title?
Call me practical. The name of the book gives you a good idea of what the story is about. A lot of titles don’t really tell you much about the book. I wanted my title to say a lot about the book.
Q: They say you can judge a book by its cover. Can you tell us a little about your cover and who designed it?
The cover shows a father and daughter sitting side-by-side. Neither of them are speaking to each other because they are mad. WestBow gives you a link to paper stock pictures. It is then my job to go through and find something that is descriptive of what is going on in my book.
Q: Can you tell us something about your book that would make me run out and buy it?
The input I have gotten from readers is that it is a fast pace, twisting plots with a great ending.
Q: Are there any messages in this book that you want the reader to know about?
The Rivers is a complex family. Sam hates his daughter but loves his son in the beginning. He almost losses both of them and in the end he loses his son and loves his daughter so much he lays his life down to save her. Tomorrow is not promise to any of us. Tell the people around you how you feel. Love them while you have a chance.
Q: What was your most favorite chapter to write and why?
My favorite chapter is the one where Lisa attaches a virus to the bad guy’s computer and brings the whole thing crashing down around them. In the process this allows her rescue team in to save her.
Q: Why did you feel you had to write this book?
My writing is my ministry. I get to make points and spread God’s word without being preachy.
Q: Now, some fun questions – What deep dark secret would you like to share with us?
I have a couple of pet peeves, no deep dark secrets
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I’d like to travel almost anywhere. I haven’t done much traveling. I’d like to see Switzerland. Who won’t right. I’d also like to visit Greece and the Holy Land.
Q: Are you a morning person or a night person?
Night. Most mornings my husband I get our daughter off to school and I can’t wait to lie back down.
Q: Are there any members in your family who also like to write?
No. my husband daughter like to draw.
Q: As a child, were you a dreamer?
Big time. I dreamed myself right out of Thomson for 24 yrs then went back and built a house and made my home there.
Q: Last but not least, the magic genie has granted you one wish. What would that be?
Of course I’d wish for a successful writing career. I’d like a large reading base to keep writing for.
Q: Thank you so much for this interview! Do you have any final words?
I write cause it’s what I like to do. It’s how I help to teach the Lord’s message. I always encourage people to listen to their hearts and don’t give up just cause things might get hard.
