As much as a hurricane is NOT a fun thing to go through, when it side swipes you and the worst ramifications it leaves are cooler temperatures and wonderful breezes moving across your property...well, that I can deal with that.

This morning has to be the most beautiful and perfect one of the season.

To top it off, it's a Saturday. That means roaming around the house in my pajamas with a coffee in my hand. The fact that I can embellish said coffee if I want to is even better!

To do this and enjoy a relaxed Saturday morning of your own, drink most of your cup, then go to the coffeemaker. Pour in more of the warm coffee that is left and add whatever it is you take in it-I take cream and sugar. Then, go to your liquor cabinet and take out a good rocks glass and pour the coffee mixture in.

Find some bourbon, whiskey or the libation of your choice-
mine was Bulleit bourbon and bitters.

Measure out a shot (or two) and add to your glass.
