Writings of an unpublished writer
A writer writes always--always writing, finding avenues to write, just continuing to write. Former newspaper reporter, columnist, editor of endless childrens' reports, case notes, business letters, directories, one copy of a book of personal collections--writing, writing and so on. Practice, practice, practice.

Need help

I have purchased a book called Curious Lists through Bas Bleu. I expected it would be along the line of Shonagon's Pillow Book. However, the headings are more specific and harder to list. For instance, having trouble with Macaroon Colors (at least 12 entries) and Impolite Ways to Request more Salt. Polite suggestions welcome.

Just a short experimental trial run

Just a short experimental trial run
Two days after possibly the worst Christmas in personal history. Except for the needs of my special needs son, I would have happily skipped the whole event. It is a matter of grown children--one in particular--whose life has ground to a halt with a couple of grandchildren involved, or as of now, uninvolved. I am heavy of heart, grief-stricken, tear-stained and otherwise not in the mood for merriment. However, I have no intention of perpetual mourning on line--I intend in the future to address less personal, more opinionated subjects such as self-loathing and the Americian Way. I expect this exercise will be therapeutic.
