Hi Patricia, oh no problems at all! I found your message in my normal e-mail box but couldn't locate it on the site until now. The best way for me to stay in contact is probably though my messages, rather than via my profile page...speaking of which I really ought to have a peep at it to check if anyone else has been in touch...oh dear, oh dear! :-) xxx
Hi Patricia, Yes, I wasn't sure how to navigate my way around at first and admit, it is a bit of a labyrinth this site, where/how to find the gems in an other than random way?? One of the things that helped me the most was to ask a question via a group, when I started a blog and didn't have much of a clue and suddenly I found a community of like minded souls.
It's a great resource and wonderful helpful members and so many gems of advice or pure inspiration. Nice to meet you and hear of your french encounters.
Hey Patricia! I'm with you in needing to tap into so much more of what She Writes offers. I keep up with the e-mail news/blog highlight updates. Good stuff. Now I need to move on from that. :-)
You're welcome Patricia. I am having the same problem. I don't have much time and there is so much going on at SW that it is hard to focus on what would be best for me to be involved in. I want to connect more to others on this site, but I barely have time to write, so I also am on here sporadically and don't contribute as I would like. When you have a chance, write back! Take care.
Hi, Patricia! I hope you win: "Currently a finalist in General Fiction for Foreword Reviews 2010 Book Of The Year." That's insane-wow! I was going to review for those folks but had to bow out because my schedule was a bear at that point. But it's a very impressive publication, so all good luck to you. Very impressive!

"Thank you all so much for the advice. TD, I like the idea of skipping to the end. I'm going to give that a try. And Linda. Seems smart to walk away.
Thank you all. I feel a bit more encouraged.

I recently had my first novel published and must admit that while there isn't anything artistically wrong with the cover I just don't feel like it properly sells the story. The cover is for an contemporary erotic romance but it looks more like a…See More
"I find that at about 30k words, it's good to step away for awhile. At this point I usually skip to the end and flesh that out. Then when you come back to your story, you have a better idea of where you're going and how to get there."
