Hi Cindy and thanks so much for the welcome, and even though six kids make me want to cry sometimes, I have friends with 11 kids and even two friends with 13!
Hi Cindy! Get ready, cause it's a lot of information! :o)
Killer Nashville started out as an international annual conference that takes place the fourth weekend in August (this year August 22-25, 2013) for Mystery, Thriller, Suspense, Crime, Horror and all the other types of writing that fall into those genres.
It has since grown to be so much more then just the mystery conference. The conference helps ALL writers, but still has an emphasis on the mystery, thriller, suspense genres. We still have the great conference every year, with at least one guest of honor (this year Anne Perry is coming all the way from Scotland!). Killer Nashville's primary goal is to assist writers of all levels improve their craft.
We offer outreach programs throughout the year. We have multiple contests, for published and unpublished work. We help connect writers to agents, editors, and publishers. Killer Nashville's founder, Clay Stafford, does daily book reviews that has a potential reach of 9,000 people. We have a weekly blog at http://killernashville.wordpress.com.
Ok. Thanks for this. I guess I'm confused with discussion thread. Are those individual threads within a specific group, or are they general? Do you just communicate with others within the groups you belong to? Sorry for all the questions. If there's a tutorial you recommend, pls let me know. I;ve seen a couple but they haven't addressed this stuff. Thanks!
it's fantastic to meet you too. It's always great to meet with another Believer online :) Yes, that's right I saw your subscription and I hope that it's a real blessing to you. I've started to post weekly extracts from my unpublished book on my website, the second extract went out yesterday it has a mini adventure with students,a whiteboard and ambulance men!!!
Hahaha :) Yes, Habla is from the verb "hablar", to speak or talk. And I have met one or two people with that last name. ;) I'm not fluent in Spanish, I'm still learning. Oh, I'm with you-I know a few key phrases of French, but I would be lost! :)
Thank you Cindy :) Really, Esperanza Habla is my pen name. In Spanish, it means "Hope Speaks". And I have a lot to say. ;) I will check out your blog. Thank you again. :)
Thanks Cindy! I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment - don't know where to start or how exactly to use this site so far. I guess I'll just jump in and see what happens...
Thanks, Cindy! I'll have find out where Sue Ann is in Alaska. I'll be in Juneau which is set apart from the rest of the state by the Tsgongas National Rain Forest and vast ice fields. It will be an adventure for sure.

Actually neither (though I have been known to be a bit strange on occasion). Check out the wikipedia page for queer; it gives a nice overview.
Thanks for friending me, Cindy, and for the encouragement. I've been an on and off blogger for a while but really dream of doing it more, as my time allows. Crazy stuff in our lives are always happening and I'm always finding the humor in it, plus the reality of where we are in our lives. I appreciate your comments. And fixed my profile to reflect my correct website address... I did it very quickly! Many blessings and Happy Valentines Day!

Hi Cindy, Thanks for the request and kind words. Looking forward to more connection.
Ahhh...Doctors...One of the big reasons I started blogging! Umm...it's a virus that never leaves your system. Actually (if I remember correctly) a type of herpes virus. Of course it can return! (Heck, my Dad had chickenpox twice!)
Congrats on the hubby! And if it makes you feel any better? I can't drink much either! I'm really not supposed to with several of the meds, but most alchohol triggers migraines anyway...so I'm pretty much dry. Ah, but I can dream....(escapeism? No, not me!)
Stop it! I can't laugh and cringe at the same time!
I had shingles when I was 16...I still cringe whenever I hear the word! Also, when I get really run-down or a cold, my skin feels like I've been flayed alive! (Good times!) At least at this stage of life? There's vodka to help sleep throug the pain...*grin*
Ta-da! It's release day for Reach: a Twin-Bred novel, the sequel to Twin-Bred. Twin-Bred addressed the question: can interspecies diplomacy begin in the womb? Reach, set on the planet Tofarn and elsewhere (that'd be telling . . .) carries on the…See More
