Just opened the door to the novelist group for you, Rebecca - welcome! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. I’ll look forward to chatting with you!

Rebecca, I can't wait to start reading more of these Literary Mash-Up pieces!! I have to find the time, but I assure you—I will do so. Thanks, meanwhile, for reading my work over at Leite's Culinaria (a site you might want to consider yourself). Cheers, Allison
Thank you for the welcome, Rebecca. I'm looking forward to getting to know this site & getting involved. Glad you liked the blog. I've done more photography than writing lately & want to at least get it back to even ground!
Thank you for the welcome and for looking at my work :) Much appreciated. I'm looking forward to becoming an active member although time is short at the moment, what with my graduation exhibition approaching at a gallop.
Thank you Rebecca.
And thanks for 'Anaïs Nin's Hot Cross Buns' - lovely! Funnily enough, I was just re-reading Delta of Venus yesterday, and marvelling again at her writing. I'm off to read your other pieces now. I'm really glad I found you!
By the way, I think you might quite like a chapter I wrote about Shakespeare's Venus and Adonis and Ovidian Indecorous Wit in Shakespeare's Ovid (ed. A.B. Taylor, Cambridge University Press, 2000, UK & US). It's about the way they deflated serious subjects. Eg: 'He with her plenty pressed, she faint with dearth,/Their lips together glued, fall to the earth.' Both writers are outrageous and hilarious.
Thanks again, Rebecca.
Hi Rebecca, Nice to hear from a new voice. As far as any online publications: Yes, I've been fortunate to find a readership with Doorknobs & BodyPaint and Riverbabble. You can find some of my flash fiction and short fiction by going to their most recent issues, as well as, to tseveral past issues of Doorknobs. The editors had a reading in New York a year ago or so. What a trip that was? I also have a Website: www.authorsden.com/joyceadaniels You can read some of my other work there. How about you? Where can I find your work? The Best, Joyce
Thanks for the welcome. I need to introduce myself to the group, I do have a website, , and I write short story length fiction as well as flash fiction.
Here's the shortest piece I've written yet, it was published in BlinkInk, it had to be 50 words or less:
Inside the salmon building a tiny woman squatted like a crab.Records were out of their jackets, spread on the floor. She stood up, grabbed a record, hurled it at the wall. She bent over, picked up one black shard up in her hand like an exclamation point, a declaration.

"Hi Amanda,
Naturewriting.com is an online magazine only, but one that allows you to read essays and poetry about its general topic. I always enjoy reading about what others are perceiving and what aspects of nature writing interest them.…"
