I was interested in what you are doing and decided to friend you. I left an abusive 21yr marriage 14 yrs ago...never looked back ! Best thing I ever did and it was a long time coming. Fear kept me in his clutches far too long. Anyway here I am alive, happy and writing. Thanks for accepting the friend request and glad you liked our B&B site! Bethany,Welcome to the novelist group! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!
There is some now, in the discussion of kicking it off where you mentioned about blogging. A lot of this is feel your way through. If what is mentioned is not what you're looking for let me know, we'll talk more. :)

Hi Bethany, Not sure if you started the Blog yet on domestic violence but one platform that is simple and allows for guest posts very easily is http://www.blogger.com/create-blog.g?hca=true. I also started writing for the examiner a while back (I live in the Bay Area) http://www.examiner.com/abusive-relationships-in-san-jose/kathy-tinney But find it hard to just report on cases in a certain area! Hope you are well, let me know if there is anything I can help you with...I am actually new at She Writes....
Forgive me in writing this late, I took a much needed rest yesterday. I wanted to personally thank you for joining my group Blooming Late!
I see that you are finding your way around the group and hopefully getting the input you need. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me directly as well. We are all here to help one another.
You've probably noticed we have a wonderful bunch of women who are a great source of support, encouragement and inspiration already and I am glad you are here!
WELCOME to my group!

"Thank you for this post! I read this a few days ago and I've used your advice in writing my recent article. It's frightening, but somehow I feel better."
"really useful advice, expertly shared...I wonder if Emily would have tweeted at all--she had the right idea by staying at home in bed... She could have had the whole world at her fingertips if she had what we have now."
