I do spend a lot of time in my various "offices" around the city ;) Love the coffee house culture here. But I also love that I can get outside year round - I'm a runner, cyclist, hiker- a little rain would never stop me. Hell, A LOT of rain doesn't either! Only heat slows me down - we're looking at a rare (thank the heavens) 88-92° weekend. I was out at 5:30 for my run. Now to spend the rest of the day inside - at my favorite library branch and cafés on Queen Anne - hiding from the sun.
I have lived in some lovely corners of the world, but my heart is most at home here (though I imagine a vineyard in southern France that bears my name ;) ). I do love many parts of California, Margaret, particularly after days and days of overcast Seattle skies!
Margaret, We're delighted to have you join us in the novelist group! If you haven’t done so already, you might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion. We do a live chat Wednesdays at 1 EST, with instructions on how to participate in the "Our Water Cooler" box near the top of the group page. And we save the wall for discussion, but welcome links to helpful blog posts on the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” discussion thread and to published books in the “Our Published Novels” one. I hope you’ll enjoy the group.

I want to personally Thank You for joining my group Blooming Late!
I took the liberty of perusing your profile and see that you are a very dedicated writer! Your blog is cleanly done, interesting and well written! I also must admit you spoke to my personal reading addiction too! :D I noticed that your goal is publishing, therefore, may I offer you my advice that It would also serve your platform to add Twitter to it as many publishers insist on a three-pronged platform of a blog, Facebook and Twitter accounts or places like them that will give you a large web-presence and help you to build a good following. In essence we arenow doing their job largely for them in promoting our own books and they won't give someone the time of day that hasnt got a well established platform now.
I love the working Title of your book by the way too!
Of course, I and all the members of Blooming Late are here to help you toward you personal writing success in any way that we can.
