Thank you for welcoming me to She Writes!  I am very excited to get to know more about this wonderful community.

On another note, I find "My Body Belongs to Me" a phenomenal creation; as a teacher-activist myself, I can appreciate the power of a critical message being conveyed in a relatable, effective manner for its target audience.  There are so many things that adults in children's/teen's lives must take responsibility for preventing - you have certainly targeted a crucial one.  Congratulations!

Jill, thanks for the friend add, first to start it out for me.

I think writing mysteries is what I was meant to do, but I think my background is helpful in creating realistic relationships and determining character motivation.  At an unconscious level, I think the psychology just oozes onto the page without any control on my part!
