Hello Lydia
My name is Patricia Neely-Dorsey. I am from Tupelo, MS and the author of a wonderful little book of southern poems that I think you might like. Please vist my page for more information.
Hi Lydia, Just checking in on everyone to see how everybody is doing these days. How is your work and your life going? Anything you'd like to share or support you need for your work? Let us know at the Southern Writers Group. Would you be interested in getting together with other She Writers in the vicinity? I had a wonderful time meeting up with a small group from the Western Massachusetts group which is where I live these days and it was great! Best, Nicky
oh my god i have been trying to get in touch too. i re-read your book, and i have to say, i would rather not give the 4 notes to you... i would rather you just write & finish, and then i could help you if you'd like. but i just love your voice. and so thrilled you got in touch this way again, because...omg, why oh why is it so hard to chat on shewrites???? but please, lydia, write write...finish. it's so lovely, your words. so so lovely.
It is a great idea. My daughter loves books and notebooks and pens, like me. But I think she would want me to write in her book with her. Yes, this is what she would want. So, maybe 50,000 words coauthored?
How far have you gotten in your WIP so far? I don't know if I could pull off continuing a WIP for Nano or not. My inner editor needs to be fired. Its tempting to continue my first Nano project this year, but not tempting enough.
So, I have no idea what to Nano about. I really haven't thought too much about it. I've been spending all my time working on my two new blogs, trying to get them some readership, etc. My second blog is supposed to catapult me into a memoir about my gigantic family. Do you think I could pull off doing memoir for Nano? I guess 50,000 words is 50,000 words.
The pic demonstrates how I feel in the face of writer's block. Also how much I like self-portraits taken with cell phone cameras in Amtrak bathrooms. Thanks!
Hi Lydia, How are you? The type of mentoring/coaching I do is around business/career issues, concerns or goals. I know this sounds vague; when we identify specific objectives, then we can get much more specific. What are YOU looking for?
Oh, OK! Yes. I can definitely help you with that. I charge a fee, and it depends on which approach you want to take (i.e., coaching or doctoring). Maybe you should email me? kerry@kerry-cohen.com
I was sort of a groundbreaker in the world of Action-Adventure. The queen of car chases! Now it's all about drama...mobsters and doctors and love in the afternoon!
I'm thrilled to be teaching Presentation Skills for Writers at this Summer Conference:Thursday, August 08, 2013 2:00 PM - Monday, August 12, 2013 10:00 AM (Eastern Time) For more information and to register:…See More

Sounds great. At least we can nano about 2 year olds if nothing else, though there is so, so much else. :)
I do coaching (e.g. to get a project done) and book doctoring. I'm assuming you're wondering about the writing mentoring I do?
