Thank you so much for the information and your kind words. At times I wish it was cancer because caner is more studied than the disease that I have been diagnosed with! There are only 1500 women in North America that have been diagnosed with LAM, so there is not a lot of money spent on research. Basically my lungs are like a sieve and I was warmed to they will start collapsing on a regular basis. Ultimately I will have to undergo a lung transplant but will do everything in my power to delay it as long as possible.

As far as the depression side of things, I agree that a positive attitude does play a large part in recovery or in my case delaying! I have been through worse situation especially since I have undergone 28 surgeries and have a special needs 12 year-old son in a therapeutic group home. I go through pain every day of my life but you will never find me without a smile on my face so I will get my drive back soon!
