Hi Nancy! Just wrote back to you on Blooming Late comment wall - I love making new friends, and meeting writers!!! I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time to spend here on SheWrites, but now am hoping to take full advantage of all the wonderful stories, advice, etc. Thank you for your congrats!!!
Hi Nancy, I shared your post with info about the travel writing contest on the FB hub of Greater Seattle Women Who Write and we'll plan a Meetup for travel writers. A great way to introduce yourself and possibly win future students or clients. For short we go by >sea3w :-) Kind of like ocean front seeing double, must appeal to any traveler, what do you say?
Your welcome Nancy! I haven't been keeping up on this site as much as I'd like...it's so hard to find the time to connect. Can you tell me what you find you like the most on SW or what you find the most helpful? I'm trying to get more involved but there is so much going on that it's hard to really zero in on what would fit best. Any ideas? Thanks!
Yes, youre absolutely right about the photo thing, Ill make mention of that via you of course to the group, you know if you have any things to add theres no reason not to just jump right in and tell everyone. I definitely did a "Freudian" with NOT mentioning pics, lol. I just LOVE putting my pic out there-NOT! lol
Thank you for joining my group "Blooming late"!. I ve seen your comment on there and was impressed that I wasn't the only other woman who had a baby when I was ready instead of when its thought you should. I had my one and only at 34, he will be ten this year. Time fies! Im looking forward to hear about your goals and accomplishments with writing. I think youll find we have a great group of women here that are full of encouragement and inspiration and good luck with all you writing endeavors!
Hi Nancy, As it turned out none of us made it, at least both Kari and I did go to Tully's but missed each other. No phone numbers! Oi vey. So next time when we set up meeting and you plan to come, let's exchange numbers (privately if you like). I suggested next Wednesday at 11 a.m. but waiting to hear back from people.
As tiny as a comma is, its impact as both a punctuation mark and a conversation piece is anything but insubstantial. Put two people who differ on the subject of Oxford commas in a room together, and blood might be spilled. Get a copy editor going…See More
