Thanks for the friend reach out, Ruth. I missed before that you are a filmmaker. Read a piece in the Guardian this morning about Cannes FF which reminded me that as bad as the reviews and rewards thing is for women novelists, it's an even bigger challenge for women filmmakers. Kudos to you.
