Hi Deborah, Happy New Year.  I hope you have a wonderful prosperous year.  I desire to learn from you and others on this site.  I just signed up.  I am currently writing a book about my thyroid disease.

I really enjoyed your book, Sisterhood, Interrupted!  I sent you an email about it the other day, so I hope you received it.

Hi Deborah! Thanks for the welcome. Your thoughtful post about writing about our kids was actually what brought me here to She Writes (A friend passed the link along to me.) Congrats on your twins, and I hope you're enjoying the adventure. The one-to-three-years-old period is, well, challenging, but also delightful in countless ways. Like most things about parenting, I suppose! Cheers, JR.

Thanks, Deborah! I'm thrilled but so glad that this aspect of the book tour has come to its end. My kids have now seen more of the US than I ever did, and now wonder why they have to sleep in their own beds and cannot perpetually eat in restaurants. Appreciate your words on the Motherlode piece. There's one coming out on AOL.com on multi-racial families that I'm sure will stir the pot. I'll let you know!!!! xo
