Christina, thanks for checking out the Hot Cross Buns recipe. It's a hoot to smash recipes up against famous people. Right now I'm working on Harper Lee. I enjoy the fearlessness and frankness of your food blog.
Strange. Or perhaps "offbeat" (as in Offbeat News Examiner) better describes it. I'm the Berkeley Cooking Examiner, writing for the Oakland edition of examiner.com
Christina, how lovely of you to let me know you read and enjoyed my piece in Creative NonFiction. I do appreciate it ( like that one too). Happy new year to you as well, and may months of fine writing lie ahead of you!
well Christina, yes I finished the book, but we shall see if I "rock" or not....ha ha ha.
Now comes the really hard part ( and I thought finishing the book would be the hardest part!) Hope to join in your group.

Hi Christina, My novel came out as of this Weds. I feel like I'm floating half the time now!
Hi Christina, just saw your post on virtual critique about a story you want feedback on. Want to do a swap? I'm working on a collection of short stories. Would love to hear from you. rose at rosedeniz.com
Hey Christina!
Pleased to be your new writer friend, and WOW- how cool is that living in China? What an experience!
Thank you so much for taking a moment to read my blog. I really appreciate your comments - great to hear what the vibe is like over there. I guess this oppressive standard of women's worth/beauty is a worldwide crisis. That is really depressing. Maybe we girrrrrrls can make a dent by blogging about it
Hi Christina, I think it was my effort to make Math cute and pleasurable. I am not a mathmatical person at all (except I was actually good at Geometry--but nothing else) and I love Vasily Kandinsky so there you go.
A circle is a line
Hugging itself.
A line is something suggested
between points A and B.
A triangle is sexy
unless obtuse.
Points of light
recall a conservative president to mind.
And the art of Vasily Kandinsky
is what happens when Venn diagrams overlap,
and blush their embarrassment,
profusely.
Polychromaticly.
Thanks, Christina. That's useful feedback. I'm not a huge blogger--it takes time away from novel-writing--so the encouragement/nudging is welcome. If it's helping us build connections, then it's worth the time!
"super early morning which is inconvenient because I have to force myself out of bed. We're talking 3-5 am. Or else later in the evenings. Weird but I can't seem to shake it."
