The writing part is based on my own Nashville writing group, which I now connect with from afar - an amazing group of four writers who started unpublished and now count 8 books published or being written under contract, plus articles, stories, poems... Really amazing how far a little support goes.

"I draw in the margins, or on my 3 X 5 cards. If I'm going to focus on drawing, I prefer watercolor, colored pencils, or markers, depending on the design. And I like the softer colored pencils better than the hard.
